How to Build and run the Flash portion of Kaltura KMC

It contains a significant portion written in Flash and in order to make changes or debug issues with it, compilation is needed.
I have compiled it in order to add Korean localization support, required by one of our customers.

We are excited to launch a new post series about the Panda Kaltura AWS cluster. Kaltura is an open source video platform loaded with features. The platform can be partitioned into multiple machines for scalability, performance and robustness. Amazon AWS is a cloud computing platform launched in 2006. It includes dozens of services which integrate well with each other and enable a lot of flexibility. Adding New KDP Versions to Kaltura CE5

This article is about adding new versions of the kaltura dynamic player – KDP, as well as upgrading them.

The Kaltura Dynamic Player (KDP) is an open source flash video player Provided by Kaltura. The players provided with Kaltura CE5 are over a year old (version 3.5.35), so upgrading them can solve a lot of bugs.

Fixing Kaltura CE5 analytics (Continued)

We previously wrote about fixing some issues with Kaltura CE5 analytics.

However, if you are using Ubuntu server there is another issue which that must be fixed for the analytics to work.

On Ubuntu server, the Apache access log format specified in the Kaltura virtual host file is overridden by the main Apache configuration file. Below we list the steps to identify and fix the issue.

If you haven’t looked at our earlier post yet, make sure you have a look and fix the problems discussed there before trying the following steps.
